He obtained his Master of Law degree from McGill University, Montreal, Canada with a thesis on private satellite communications operations, and completed a Postgraduate Diploma program in Law at the Institute of Social Studies, the Hague, the Netherlands, after graduating in Law from Padjadjaran University, Bandung, Indonesia. He also studied mathematics at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). Prior to founding Bahar & Partners, Wahyuni is a lecturer in Padjadjaran University, Bandung and Trisakti University, Jakarta, on various subjects, including air and space law, telecommunication law and international law. Wahyuni actively attended various international training programs, colloquia and seminars on corporate finance, capital markets, trade and industrial sector, as well as environmental law. In addition, Wahyuni is also entrusted by many domestic and international organizations to act as a speaker in various they held seminars/workshops, among others in the fields of capital market, securities, cross-border M&A, investment, Islamic financing, telecommunication, aviation, etc. Wahyuni specializes in corporate finance and capital markets. He has wide experiences in the preparation of an acquisition, finance and securities transactions, and debt and corporate structuring. Other than the practice area, Wahyuni is also a specialist in specific areas such as aviation, telecommunication, trading and industrial sector, as well as maritime. For almost 20 years, Wahyuni is entrusted to be a responsible attorney in handling complex and high profile transactions. With his experiences working with many parties, Wahyuni is able to balance and position himself in handling both foreign and Indonesian clients.
